The middle of the night in a fantastically dilapidated building with angels on the facade in central Bucharest, 12-13 September 2009.

"Lets get back on the toes- Summer break over - bring on the Bangers and Faders! Ladies get those nice dresses out, guys polish your dancing shoes and practice your smart look as we need the Bucharest Top Friends up there at the front".

Heating it up, melting it down:

  1. the venue and the music might sound/look underground, but the people...this is hipster's underground :)

  2. Well, when I say 'underground' I mean in comparison to fitze Bucuresti. The vibe was certainly not fitze, but yes, people had iPhones :)

  3. you are so narrowminded. everybody in London has an iphone, everybody who doesn't has a blackberry and those are business people. in the US it's even wider spread. it's about time we get over this stereotypes don't you think?

  4. Hi,

I was just trying to respond to another person's comment about the music pictures not being of the 'underground' but of 'hipsters'. Of course many young people have iPhones now no matter what scene they are part of. Technology has infiltrated even the lives of Maramures peasants!
